Description
As a Service and Maintenance Apprentice you will develop through a structured technical training programme to be able to undertake the provision of defined technical engineering support within the Royal Mail Estate. The apprenticeship is designed to take 38 months to complete and will include studying off-site, as well as on the job coaching and mentoring. Including tasks such as
- Completing planned preventative maintenance
- Undertake any required remedial repairs
- Monitor and manage the operation of plant and equipment through building and energy management systems
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards a Building Services Engineering Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Master Class sessions at training centre
- 1-2-1 sessions with appointed Tutor every 4-6 weeks
You will be given all the necessary training that this role requires and will be supported with completing your qualification with GLP Training.
